GOD Driven

Yesterday I moved one of my hummingbird feeders to different spot. I had two on the same tree. Usually it doesn't matter but I live to watch the hummingbirds they are amazing to me. Their the only birds that can fly in all directions, they fly as fast as I drive on the highway, they are just beautiful creatures to me.

This morning I was taking pictures as I do every morning. That's my relaxation to start my day. I watch Gods creation and marvel at it just to be honest. I watch the various birds that come up and eat and drink.

As I was watching the hummingbirds feeding this morning. There was a small bird who came and perched on the little dead tree I have out there. No I haven't cut it down because they like to sit on it, and what not so I leave it there for them. Sad I know!!! This little bird along with his friend began playing around on the tree. Looked as if they were chasing eachother. As I watched them, one would fly above the other one sit there for a sec and then just step off the branch and land on the branch just below where he was standing. They did this for a few minutes.

This made me think... They was not afraid to take that step off the branch, even though they had no idea if they were going to reach the next one or not. They just stepped... WOW! Even the birds have more faith than we do! They knew without a doubt they would be okay. Had that been me on the branch and I was a bird I'd still be looking at the branch below trying to time it just right so I didn't fall. Don't we do that anyway? With everything God tells us to do? We wait and see what will happen if we do this, or do that! Instead of just saying okay God I know you got me, HERE I GO!

We are scaredy cats for lack of a better word... Sometimes God just wants us to say okay I trust you, let your will be done.

The Bible says "So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (‭Matthew‬ ‭17‬:‭20‬ NKJV)"

So today I encourage you to take take that step He has been asking you to take, and trust Him. If you get unassured as you go. Stop and pray about it, but never just stop!!! Y'all have a great, blessed day!!!

Prayer for today: Lord thank you for waking us up this morning. I okay you be with every person reading this. Give them strength to make it through another day. Give them peace to know you Lord are where you promised you'd be, right by they're side. Lord I thank you for the birds of the air, as well as all the little things you use to get our attention and teach us lessons. I pray today Lord you help each person including myself to take that step of faith and not be afraid... Lord help us to trust you. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.....
